Horizon Quantum Computing (Nasdaq: HQ) is a Singapore-based quantum software company. It began trading on Nasdaq in March 2026 through a SPAC merger with dMY Squared Technology Group at a transaction value of roughly $503M, supported by $110M of PIPE financing that was 120% oversubscribed. The merger agreement with dMY Squared Technology Group (NYSE: DMYY) was announced in September 2025 and was expected to close in Q1 2026. IonQ and a Fortune 50 tech company took part in the PIPE.

Horizon builds Triple Alpha, a full-stack quantum software development environment that automatically identifies opportunities for quantum acceleration in classical code, making quantum programming accessible without specialist knowledge. The company was founded in 2018 by Joe Fitzsimons and is backed by Entrepreneur First, Sequoia, and others. In December 2025, Horizon became the first quantum software company to operate its own quantum computer, located at its Singapore headquarters and built on a Maybell cryostat, Quantum Machines control, and a Rigetti processor.

Entropica Labs is a Singapore-based quantum software company founded in 2018. It develops compilers, optimization algorithms, and quantum error correction tools for fault-tolerant quantum computing, and raised a $4.7M Series A in November 2023.

In January 2026, Entropica signed an MOU with Yaqumo Inc. of Japan, witnessed by the Singapore and Japanese governments. It was the first quantum-specific international government-to-government memorandum of cooperation for Singapore, focused on fault-tolerant quantum computing and cold-atom hardware integration. In February 2026, the company signed an MOU with Quobly, a French silicon spin qubits firm, for software-hardware co-design, pairing joint compiler and optimization technology with Quobly's 28nm FDSOI silicon architecture. Entropica also partners with Xanadu and Atom Computing on commercial quantum solutions.

AQSolotl is an NTU and NUS spin-off that launched the CHRONOS-Q quantum controller in December 2024, bridging conventional computers with quantum systems. The company develops quantum control electronics that manage and orchestrate quantum computing operations. AQSolotl's CHRONOS-Q controller provides the critical interface between classical computing infrastructure and quantum processors, addressing scalability challenges in quantum computing by enabling efficient control of increasing numbers of qubits. In July 2025, Anyon Technologies and BDx Data Centers launched Southeast Asia's first hybrid quantum AI testbed at BDx's SIN1 data center in Paya Lebar, Singapore, giving startups, enterprises, and government agencies a place to explore quantum-enhanced AI applications. Anyon partnered with YQuantum to establish a European quantum testbed for application-driven research in AI, chemical engineering, and materials science, and announced integration with NVIDIA CUDA-Q for hybrid quantum-classical computing. In November 2022, SPTel and SpeQtral announced successful initial trials toward setting up Quantum-Secure Networks on SPTel's diverse fiber network, the first such trials in Singapore. In November 2023, the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA) jointly appointed SPTel and SpeQtral to build the National Quantum-Safe Network Plus (NQSN+), Singapore's first nationwide quantum-safe network.

The Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT) is Singapore's national research centre for quantum information, founded in 2007 as a Research Centre of Excellence at the National University of Singapore. The National Quantum Computing Hub (NQCH) was launched on May 31, 2022, as one of three national quantum platforms announced at Asia Tech x Singapore by Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat. It is a joint initiative of the Centre for Quantum Technologies at the National University of Singapore, the Institute of High Performance Computing at A*STAR, and the National Supercomputing Centre Singapore.

SpeQtral is a Singapore quantum satellite communications company founded in 2017 as a spinout from the Center for Quantum Technologies. It is the first Singapore quantum satellite company to reach deployment, advancing space-based quantum key distribution for ultra-secure global communications with demonstrated space-qualified technology.

On November 28, 2025, SpeQtral successfully launched and deployed the SpeQtre CubeSat aboard SpaceX's Transporter-15 mission. The 12U CubeSat, roughly the size of a microwave oven, carries space-qualified entangled photon pair source and detector modules and was deployed into sun-synchronous orbit. The mission was carried out in partnership with the UK Science and Technology Facilities Council's RAL Space, and quantum communications experiments are set to begin in early 2026 using ground stations at the Centre for Quantum Technologies in Singapore and Chilbolton Observatory in the UK.
