Aselsan is Turkey's leading defense electronics company, headquartered in Ankara. Together with TOBB University of Economics and Technology (TOBB ETU), it developed QuanT, Turkey's first domestically produced quantum computer. The 5-qubit system was unveiled on November 21, 2024, at the TOBB ETU Technology Center, making Turkey one of the few countries with quantum computer technology. QuanT operates millions of times faster than conventional computers, with implications for cryptography, AI, and optimization.

Aselsan and TOBB ETU established a quantum technologies research laboratory in 2022 with support from the Secretariat of Defence Industries (SSB), and Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz described QuanT as historic for Turkey. In the short term it plans to import an IBM Quantum System Two to provide quantum services, while in the long term it is developing Turkey's first indigenous quantum computer prototype to secure technological independence.

ComPro aims to produce the first prototype of the Turkish quantum computer before Turkey's TEKNOFEST technology festival. With global protectionism on the rise, the company stresses the importance of localizing quantum technology, collaborating with international partners while working on a fully indigenous quantum computer. Its goal is to make Turkey self-sufficient in quantum computing.

Qavis is a Turkish quantum technology startup based in the Kadıköy district of Istanbul, focused on logistics optimization using quantum and AI-powered methods. The company built Qoordinate, a platform for quantum-powered route optimization and decision-making that tackles delivery complexity in cities.

Qubitrium is a Turkish quantum technology company, founded in 2020, that develops quantum cryptography, quantum communications, and quantum sensing solutions, with particular emphasis on satellite-based quantum key distribution. The company is working on a satellite-based QKD payload and builds quantum communication technologies for secure data transmission and quantum networking.

Qubitrium supplies quantum security solutions, communication protocols, and sensing systems to government, defense, and commercial customers.
