XtalPi (晶泰科技) is a Chinese quantum-enhanced AI drug discovery company that combines quantum chemistry simulation with AI to speed up pharmaceutical R&D. Founded in 2014 as an MIT spinout, it is based in Shenzhen, China, and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under 2362.HK. The company's quantum-classical hybrid platform runs on quantum cloud services and classical HPC for crystal structure prediction, molecular dynamics, and ADMET property prediction. XtalPi has raised more than $500M from investors including Tencent, Alphabet, Sequoia China, and SoftBank. Its customers include Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Eli Lilly, and major Chinese pharmaceutical companies. In June 2025, XtalPi expanded its collaboration with Pfizer on a next-generation molecular modeling platform, and in August 2025 it signed a drug-discovery collaboration with DoveTree Medicines worth up to $6B in upfront, milestone, and royalty payments.
