China Telecom Quantum Group is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Telecom, headquartered in Hefei. In January 2025 it became the controlling shareholder of QuantumCTek, China's leading QKD company. China Telecom has committed more than CNY 10 billion of investment across its quantum programs. The group operates the Tianyan quantum computing cloud platform, which had recorded more than 12 million user visits from over 50 countries by mid-2025. In October 2025 it deployed access to the 105-qubit Zuchongzhi-3 on the Tianyan platform. In December 2024 it co-developed the Tianyan-504, a 504-qubit superconducting quantum computer, with CAS and QuantumCTek.
