TreQ Global Inc is a quantum systems engineering company founded in 2023 by US Air Force Reserve Brigadier-General Mandy Birch. It builds and operates bespoke quantum computing clusters when and where clients need them, working as a global, high-level manufacturing company that produces next-generation computing clusters containing quantum processors. In October 2024, TreQ closed an oversubscribed seed round of more than $5 million led by Lavrock Ventures, with participation from Creator Fund, Green Sands Equity, and firstminute capital. The company's approach moves away from single-technology, lab-based quantum computing toward open-architecture design, systems engineering, and high-level manufacturing, integrating components and processor prototypes from various sources to deliver complete quantum systems. Its team members have built some of the world's first commercial quantum computers, with experience at NASA, Apple, Cisco, and the Department of Defense. TreQ is headquartered at Milton Park in Oxfordshire, the UK's largest single-ownership innovation community, a location chosen because of the UK's standing as a global quantum hub. Its products include the COMPASS SG25B turnkey Quantum Innovation Station, which features Rigetti's Novera 9-qubit QPU and Qblox modular quantum control stacks. In 2025, an Innovate UK grant of GBP 1.65M funded a TreQ-led consortium, with Rigetti, Oxford Ionics, Q-CTRL, and Qruise, to build an Open Architecture Quantum Testbed, which TreQ deployed as a live multi-vendor system in April 2026.
