About
Quobly is a French silicon spin qubit company founded in 2021 out of CEA-LETI in Grenoble. In June 2026 it raised a EUR 115M Series A, the largest European quantum hardware funding round to date, bringing total raised to over EUR 160M. It is working toward 100 physical qubits on a commercial chip using STMicroelectronics CMOS fabrication, through its Q100T program. Its chips use 28nm FDSOI silicon, the same process behind millions of commercial chips, which opens the door to co-integration with classical electronics. The company received EUR 21M in additional funding in 2025, bringing total funding above EUR 45M, and it established a Singapore subsidiary in October 2025 to reach Asia-Pacific markets and fabrication partnerships. Partners include Entropica Labs for quantum error correction. In November 2025, Quobly launched the QLEO GPU-accelerated quantum emulator with QPerfect, using the NVIDIA cuQuantum SDK and CUDA-Q and claiming a 100x speedup over CPU-only simulation. The same month it partnered with SEALSQ to embed post-quantum cryptography, specifically CRYSTALS-Kyber and Dilithium, natively into silicon spin qubit hardware for defense and finance applications. In December 2025, Quobly's custom 28Si FD-SOI wafers from Soitec entered STMicroelectronics' 300mm production line in Crolles. This was the first integration of isotopically enriched silicon into a high-volume commercial semiconductor fabrication facility, a milestone toward mass-manufacturable silicon spin qubits.
