Kipu Quantum is a German quantum software company founded in 2019 and based in Karlsruhe and Berlin. It develops application- and hardware-specific quantum algorithms that use digital compression methods to enable quantum advantage on today's quantum processors. Its solutions include the first commercial quantum machine learning service with proven quantum advantage, HUBO optimization algorithms, and counterdiabatic protocols. The company has raised 10.5 million euros, acquired the PLANQK platform, and serves more than 250 organizations. Key 2025 milestones include the general availability of Rimay, its quantum-enhanced machine learning product, BASF selecting Kipu for logistics optimization, the launch of the Iskay Quantum Optimizer on IBM's Qiskit Functions Catalog, and a partnership with Pasqal for industrial quantum advantage.
