FragmentiX Storage Solutions GmbH is an Austrian IT security company founded in 2018 and headquartered in Klosterneuburg, outside Vienna. It builds a quantum-safe storage stack that combines Shamir-style Secret Sharing, post-quantum cryptography, and quantum key distribution. Data is split into encrypted fragments distributed across multiple storage locations, with QKD protecting inter-site transport to give information-theoretic security at rest. FragmentiX developed Trusted Repeater Node prototypes deployed on the 220 km Graz-Vienna QKD link, supplied federated storage clusters for four Austrian ministries, and partnered with ID Quantique and ThinkQuantum on healthcare and government QKD use cases. The company participates in EuroQCI work and aligns its roadmap with EU quantum-safe infrastructure programmes.
