Who’s News: Leadership Updates and Financing at Delft Circuits, Riverlane, Quantum Brilliance, IonQ, Nu Quantum, and Quantinuum Delft Circuits has appointed Martin Danoesastro as its new Chief Executive Officer and announced an €8 million extension to its previous financing round, bringing total funding to €15 million. Danoesastro joins after more than 25 years at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and holds an MSc in Applied Physics from TU Delft. The additional capital will be used to expand manufacturing capacity, accelerate product innovation, and strengthen the team as the company scales its Cri/oFlex® I/O solutions. Riverlane has appointed Professor Barbara Terhal as a Riverlane Fellow to lead the company’s new European QEC R&D hub located at the House of Quantum in Delft, Netherlands. Professor Terhal is a world-renowned expert in quantum error correction (QEC) and fault-tolerant architectures. She will guide key milestones, advance foundational science, and progress research direction, with the hub focusing on applying AI and machine learning to accelerate QEC technology. The announcement can be found here. Quantum Brilliance (QB) has appointed veteran technology industry executive Brian Wong as its Independent Board Chair. Wong brings over 40 years of experience in the semiconductor sector, including CEO roles and advisory work specializing in hard tech and deep tech. He will provide strategic guidance to advance QB’s integrated quantum chip roadmap and help accelerate the commercial deployment of its room-temperature, diamond-based quantum devices. Millard previously led Global AI Sales at Dell Technologies and brings over 30 years of sales leadership. He will be responsible for leading sales strategy, customer success, and go-to-market execution for IonQ’s full quantum portfolio, particularly focusing on quantum + AI solutions. Richard Moulds, former General Manager of Amazon Braket, has joined the Strategic Advisory Board. Additionally, Jonathan Cumming has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), bringing extensive financial strategy experience, including leadership roles that resulted in billion-dollar exits.
