It is currently developing and testing its own quantum finance algorithms for derivatives and options pricing, portfolio optimization and risk analytics.These sit on a technology stack ORIENTOM has been building over several years: a quantum programming and execution layer of its own design; Atom-Q, a hardware-abstraction layer that dispatches the same workload across a range of quantum and photonic backends; and application workbenches for derivatives pricing and hedging, portfolio construction and risk, insurance analytics and energy markets.softwareQ contributes its expertise in quantum software engineering, quantum compilation and circuit optimization, quantum algorithm implementation, simulation and resource estimation, evidenced by its proven, state-of-the-art software stack, including the staq quantum compiler, the Quantum++ simulation library, and the aqcess platform for compiling, optimizing and running quantum algorithms across multiple hardware backends and simulators.Based on groundbreaking R&D, softwareQ’s tools are in commercial use, benchmarked against and integrated into code bases worldwide by companies and organizations including NVIDIA and Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
