CBCTQ 2026, 21-25 September, NiteróiCBCTQ 2026 is the first Congresso Brasileiro de Ciências e Tecnologias Quânticas, running 21 to 25 September 2026 at the Cantareira Innovation District in Niterói. It brings together two established Brazilian research workshops, WECIQ and WCQ-UFSC, into a single congress with four tracks: quantum computing, quantum communication, quantum information and quantum metrology. Invited speakers include Gilles Brassard and Rainer Blatt.Detection is where a lot of quantum experiments quietly hit their ceiling. Timing jitter sets how finely coincidences can be resolved, dark counts set the noise floor on long integrations, and recovery time decides whether the detector or the source is what caps the count rate. Which of those dominates depends entirely on the experiment, which is why detector selection is worth a conversation rather than a datasheet comparison. A coincidence measurement limited by jitter and a long-integration measurement limited by dark counts point at different instruments, and the difference is not visible from a specification table read in isolation.Dan Chebot, Senior Relationship Manager, covering our quantum detection systems, gives a 30-minute technical presentation on 21 September. We are on the programme twice more on 24 September: a five-minute company portfolio presentation to the full conference, and the Industry Round Table with academia, government and industry on technology transfer, workforce development and industry-research collaboration.Lys Meier, Customer Engagement Manager, is on site with Dan for the week.We have a small booth. At a first-edition conference this size, finding us will not take long. Bring the constraints from your own setup: wavelength, count rate, timing resolution, cryogenic budget. That gets further in ten minutes than a datasheet comparison does.Dan’s presentation is on 21 September.

The Industry Round Table is on 24 September.Book a MeetingID Quantique SA | Rue Eugène-Marziano 25 1227 Acacias - Genève | SwitzerlandT+41 22 301 83 71 F +41 22 301 83 79 info@idquantique.comCopyright © 2026 ID Quantique | Website Terms of Use | Privacy Statement | Cookie Policy | Contact Promise | UK Tax Policy DisclosureThank you for your interest in our eBook.
