A 27% investment in the ordinary shares of Telecom Italia has appreciated by €1.5 billion ($1.77 billion) in the past year, Del Fante said Tuesday in an interview with Bloomberg Television. A union will provide cost savings and revenue opportunities, along with the freedom to act quickly, he added.
