Shenandoah Telecommunications reported Q4 2026 earnings with EPS of -$0.13, beating estimates by $0.02, and revenue of $91.59M (up 7.24% YoY), surpassing expectations by $1.57M. The company confirmed its Glo Fiber expansion remains on track, targeting 510,000 fiber-to-the-home passings by year-end 2026, up from 427,000 in 2025, citing strong Q4 momentum. CFO James Volk stated terminal penetration rates in the high 30s are achievable within 5–7 years post-launch in most markets, though competition from telco fiber may reduce rates to low 30s in some areas. Glo Fiber’s build-out is nearing completion, with the final phase expected to wrap in 2026, reinforcing the company’s focus on fiber infrastructure growth. Volk highlighted isolated market challenges where telco fiber deployment post-launch impacts penetration but emphasized a diversified portfolio of 30+ markets mitigates risks.

We expect to end '26 with about 510,000 fiber-to-the-home passings and we exited -- the fourth quarter was our best quarter last year. We have good momentum going into this year. So we're in a good place on that side.

Unknown Analyst And you've talked about terminal penetration rates in the high 30s. What's the time line to reach that target terminal penetration rate? James VolkSenior VP of Finance & CFO Yes. In most markets, we get there in 5 to 7 years after we launch a market. Now there's been a couple of markets, very isolated situations where the telco built fiber after we launched service. There, we're likely to probably be getting more like low 30% penetration. The telco is taking some share there. But we have a portfolio of about 30 different
