The successful candidate will join our team working within the FIRST TEAM FENG project (funded by the Foundation for Polish Science), dedicated to developing novel dynamical models, quantum feedback control, and signal processing methods (including Bayesian inference and machine learning) for optically pumped magnetometers (OPMs) and optomechanical devices. The role features a close international collaboration with the experimental group of Prof. Morgan Mitchell at ICFO in Barcelona, and leads to defending a doctoral thesis in the extramural mode. What is offered: Full employment contract until late 2029 (initial 24-month term with planned extension). Competitive salary of ~11,000 PLN gross/month (~7,000–7,500 PLN net) plus private medical insurance. What is desired: Documented background and strong interest in quantum information theory, quantum optics, and/or atomic physics.
