CACI leadership addressed stock volatility at the February 2026 TD Cowen conference, attributing market reactions to misplaced comparisons with unrelated firms. CEO John Mengucci emphasized the company’s long-term government services focus. Mengucci dismissed short-term stock fluctuations, stating CACI’s North American Industry Classification System (NICS) code limits overnight shifts, reinforcing its defense and aerospace sector alignment. The CEO underscored CACI’s stability as a government contractor, noting investor expectations should reflect its specialized niche rather than broader market trends affecting unrelated industries. CFO Jeffrey MacLauchlan supported the long-term growth narrative, though specific financial details were not disclosed during the brief 30-minute session. Analyst Gautam Khanna framed the discussion around market uncertainty, but CACI executives redirected focus to operational consistency and sector-specific resilience.

So I want to be efficient and just -- if you could just talk at the open, we're getting a lot of questions on the volatility we saw in the stock yesterday and in the market broadly. Any concerns that you guys have? And what's sort of your response to what you saw? John MengucciPresident, CEO & Director Yes. Yesterday, I think, was another example of being compared against companies that we share very little alike with, frankly. We can't change our NICs code overnight. So we're a government services company. Everybody expects these certain things from a government services company. So this is who you compete against. Whether that's true or not, this is -- that's the bin that we're in. And sometimes when bad news hits a couple
