Ambarella’s Q4 2026 earnings surpassed expectations, reporting $0.13 EPS (beating by $0.03) and $100.87M revenue (20.06% YoY growth), outperforming forecasts by $700K. CEO Fermi Wang highlighted rapid edge AI growth, contrasting the data center AI boom, emphasizing its expanding role in robotics, enterprise security, drones, and portable video applications. The company is capitalizing on "physical AI" opportunities, particularly in robotics, which Wang called a future "huge market," though current demand remains strongest in security and video sectors. Wang underscored Ambarella’s strategic pivot toward edge AI, leveraging its chip expertise to address real-time processing needs in decentralized devices rather than cloud-dependent systems. Analysts noted Ambarella’s agility in adapting to AI trends, with Wang confirming sustained momentum in edge deployments despite broader industry shifts toward centralized AI infrastructure.

But today, most of the volume that we are focusing on is still from the enterprise security to the portable video to the drones, those we talk about a lot. But at this earnings call, we talk another thing, which is very important for edge AI is really we believe. In the
