The QTP initiative recruits engineers from traditional disciplines—such as mechanical engineering, thermodynamics, and computer science—and trains them to apply quantum computing methods directly to aerospace and national security R&D. By integrating PennyLane, the curriculum provides hands-on coding exercises, interactive tutorials, and dedicated workshops led by Xanadu’s research team. Using PennyLane’s JIT-compiled simulators and hardware interfaces, participants will learn to design, optimize, and test quantum-native algorithms. This software-first training approach aims to build in-house quantum readiness, ensuring engineering teams can transition validated code to physical hardware systems as utility-scale quantum processors mature.
