We look for a very good understanding of quantum communication and quantum key distribution principles and practice, and experimental experience with optical/photonic hardware. The successful applicant must be able to understand methods for defeating the security of quantum communication systems and methods used to defend against such attacks. He/she must be willing to work with colleagues to strict protocols within a formal quality system and to shoulder with them the associated administrative burden.
