PQShield and Carahsoft Partner to Accelerate PQC Adoption for U.S. Government Agencies PQShield, a provider of post-quantum cryptography (PQC) solutions, and Carahsoft Technology Corp., a Master Government Aggregator, have announced a strategic partnership. The agreement is designed to accelerate the migration of U.S. government agencies to quantum-safe cryptography by making PQShield’s PQC product suite available to the Public Sector through various government contracts, including NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V. The partnership addresses the pressure on federal and defense agencies to modernize encryption before quantum computers render today’s algorithms obsolete, aligning with the NSA’s CNSA 2.0 and NSM-10 guidelines, which mandate PQC adoption by 2030. PQShield, noted as a co-author of all published NIST PQC standards, brings this expertise directly into government deployments. PQShield’s product suite is organized into three technical pillars to address diverse needs: PQPerform (Ultra fast): Delivers high-performance PQC at the core of the network for applications like firewalls and routers. PQPlatform (Ultra secure): Optimized for critical infrastructure devices with long lifecycles that require the highest levels of integrity. PQMicroLib (Ultra small): Targets implementations in memory-constrained and embedded systems, such as energy smart meters and industrial controls. Ben Packman, Chief Strategy Officer at PQShield, stated that the collaboration is essential for helping government institutions navigate the transition to post-quantum readiness.
