MSc Quantum Science and Technology, FST Al-Hoceima – Abdelmalek Essaadi University Application deadline: Sunday, August 2, 2026Employer web page: faculty of science and technics alhoceimaJob type: OtherTags: #postdoc #quantum computing #quantum information #quantum sensing #quantum communicationThe Master's programme in Quantum Science and Technology (QST) at the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques of Al-Hoceima (FSTH), Abdelmalek Essaadi University, Morocco, is now open for applications for the 2026-2027 academic year. The second quantum revolution is transforming information, communication, sensing and computing. This two-year programme provides a solid gateway into the rapidly growing field of quantum science and technology, at the interface of physics, materials and engineering. It prepares graduates for careers in quantum-related research and industry, and offers a strong foundation for progressing to a PhD in quantum science. The programme combines a theoretical and computational approach, offering modules on Advanced Quantum Mechanics, Open Quantum Systems, Quantum Information, Quantum Optics and Metrology, Quantum Communication and Cryptography, Quantum Thermodynamics, Quantum Sensing, Integrated Photonics, Quantum Programming, Machine Learning and Quantum Machine Learning, Scientific Computation and more. The curriculum runs over four semesters (S1–S4) and concludes with a final-year research project or internship. Students develop a dual expertise in modern quantum physics and scientific computing, gaining hands-on experience in the theoretical and numerical modelling of closed and open quantum systems, as well as in developing simulation codes and algorithms. Graduates can pursue careers as researchers, R&D engineers in quantum technologies, and specialists in quantum computing, cryptography, photonics, sensing and metrology. Admission requirements: a BSc in Sciences and Techniques (EEA, PIM, MI…), a BSc in Physics, or any equivalent recognized degree. Selection is based on application review, a written exam and an oral interview. Applications are submitted online via the programme website.
