IonQ has received final regulatory approval to acquire SkyWater Technology, the largest exclusively U.S.-based semiconductor foundry. The deal, first announced in January 2026, is expected to finalize on July 31, 2026, and will secure a domestic supply chain for IonQ’s quantum computers.
