Computational Methods for Tensors in Mathematics and Quantum Physics

A five-day interdisciplinary workshop on tensor methods and tensor networks will be held July 13–17, 2026, at the University of Trento, Italy, organized by the Horizon Europe MSCA Doctoral Network TENORS. The event bridges algebraic geometry, numerical computation, optimization, quantum information, and many-body physics, emphasizing computational applications in quantum technologies and entanglement research. Confirmed speakers include Antonio Acín (ICFO, Barcelona), with open calls for contributed talks and posters targeting PhD students, postdocs, and researchers in tensor networks and quantum computing. Submissions (title, abstract, affiliation) must be emailed to Alessandra Bernardi by January 6, 2026, with registration closing January 7, 2026. The workshop is co-sponsored by CIRM, fostering collaboration between mathematicians, physicists, and quantum information scientists to advance tensor-based computational methods.
