The third Workshop on Quantum-Secure Networks and Systems (QSNS 2026) will convene June 23–26, 2026, in Vilamoura, Portugal, addressing urgent cybersecurity threats posed by quantum computing. Co-funded by the EU’s Horizon Europe program, the event unites six projects—QUBIP, PQ-React, PQ-NEXT, POSEIDON, QARC, and Q-FENCE—to accelerate the transition to post-quantum cryptography (PQC) in global digital infrastructure. Researchers and engineers will focus on two critical tracks: NIST-led PQC algorithm standardization and practical deployment of PQC in networks, protocols, and hybrid systems to mitigate quantum decryption risks. Paper submissions close March 31, 2026, with notifications by April 15. Final manuscripts are due April 30, aligning with the IEEE Symposium on Computers and Communications co-location. The workshop aims to bridge theory and engineering, fostering agile, standards-based solutions to secure systems against future quantum attacks.

The QSNS2026 workshop will address the most pressing cybersecurity challenges of the quantum era from an engineering perspective, with the aim of contributing to global efforts towards an agile, post-quantum or post-quantum/traditional hybrid and standards-based transition to PQC of the digital infrastructures we all use today. Venue QSNS2026 will be co-located with the 31st IEEE Symposium on Computers and Communications, June 23-26, 2026, Vilamoura, Algarve, Portugal.
