Westport Fuel Systems remains under a temporary management cease trade order (MCTO) issued April 1, 2026, by the British Columbia Securities Commission due to delayed 2025 annual filings caused by a March 20 cybersecurity incident. The MCTO restricts trading by the CEO and CFO only, not other shareholders, while the company completes audited financial statements, MD&A, certifications, and its Form 20-F, originally due March 31. An investigation concluded the cyber incident did not compromise internal financial controls, and revised audit activities are now underway, with filings expected "as soon as possible." Westport confirms no material changes since the incident, no anticipated further defaults, and compliance with bi-weekly updates under NP 12-203 until filings are submitted. The Vancouver-based clean energy tech firm specializes in alternative-fuel transportation solutions, including natural gas, renewable natural gas, and hydrogen systems for commercial fleets.
