GLP-1 weight-loss drugs are driving demand for beauty products, according to Ulta’s CEO, as users seek solutions for side effects like hair loss and reduced skin elasticity. An estimated 10% of the U.S. population now uses GLP-1 drugs, fueling sales of anti-hairfall treatments and moisturizers targeting rapid weight loss’s impact on skin. Ulta reported 11.8% sales growth in 2025, with skincare, wellness, and haircare making up 43% of revenue, partly due to GLP-1 users’ needs. Other industries are adapting too, with fillers for "Ozempic face" and tailors altering wardrobes for smaller sizes as weight-loss trends reshape consumer behavior. The company’s stock surged 50% in a year, reflecting broader market shifts as GLP-1 adoption creates new opportunities in beauty and wellness sectors.
