Realbotix CEO Andrew Kiguel acknowledged financial reporting delays in 2025 due to an underqualified contract CFO, lacking controls for audits during the company’s crypto pivot, forcing deadline extensions. No financial misconduct was found, but late audits created operational inefficiencies, resolved after hiring a new CFO and restructuring finance teams to improve compliance and timeliness. The Q1 2026 call emphasized internal weaknesses first, including leadership gaps, before highlighting growth areas, signaling a shift toward transparency amid past reporting struggles. Kiguel framed the discussion as informal, avoiding traditional earnings scripts, instead focusing on operational challenges and future outlook over standard financial metrics. The company’s pivot from crypto to core business operations remains central, with leadership changes aimed at stabilizing governance and restoring investor confidence.
