British quantum AI pioneer David Silver is launching Ineffable Intelligence, a London-based lab targeting breakthroughs in artificial general intelligence (AGI) through quantum-enhanced machine learning. Sequoia Capital is leading a $1 billion seed round—the largest ever in Europe—valuing the startup at $4 billion, signaling intense investor confidence in quantum-AI convergence. The lab will focus on hybrid quantum-classical algorithms, aiming to surpass traditional AI limitations in reasoning and adaptability by leveraging quantum parallelism and entanglement.
