This brings funding to date to $27 million. Other participants included Hearstlab, 1984 Ventures and How Women Invest.Wiley said the funding round will help brands’ product discovery across agentic search, noting the importance of AI in content creation. That will involve getting a greater presence across AI answer engines. AEO, Answer Engine Optimization, is important because users have more options when researching a product or vacation or service.GEO, Generative Engine Optimization, is key to getting seen by ChatGPT, which reaches 800 million weekly users, and Google’s Gemini app, which passed 750 million monthly users, among others.“I’ve been in the influencer marketing space for the last 15 years,” said Wiley. “I started my career as a blogger in 2010. I launched a blog in the days before Instagram, which seems like forever ago. “I would write about different things, like baking and crafting,” Wiley said. “It was a fun, creative outlet for a college student. Then, all of a sudden, brands started paying me to post about their products."MORE FOR YOUA former content creator and longtime influencer marketing expert, Kristen spent time on both sides of the marketplace. She found that micro-influencers were providing great results for brands, but it was hard to scale.“The micro-influencers are generally smaller and that allows them to have a more intimate and authentic connection,” Wiley said. Statusphere clients get AI-powered automation with hands-on expert support, as well as product fulfillment with 48-hour shipping to creators, and smart creator targeting with over 300 first-party data points.” Forbes Daily: Join over 1 million Forbes Daily subscribers and get our best stories, exclusive reporting and essential analysis of the day’s news in your inbox every weekday.

"Whether its 50 creators or 1,000, it's the same amount of time to execute.”Wiley said clients have used the platform to accelerate growth with authentic creator content. “The brands that see the best results give the creators freedom to do what they do best, which is creating content that their audience will love,” she said.“I worked at different agencies, helping brands run their creator campaigns,” Wiley said. “I’m excited that we have been able to build the platform that I wish I had back then. It means so much to me when brands and creators tell me about the achievements they have made because of our platform.”“We partnered with Statusphere for Philosophy and saw a clear, positive impact on the business," said Andrea DiNunzio, general manager, ultra-luxury skincare and fragrance at Coty. “Their approach to micro-influencer marketing felt thoughtful, scalable, and aligned with how modern consumers discover and engage with brands. “We saw meaningful engagement and brand lift, and appreciated their ability to execute efficiently while staying true to the brand voice,” DiNunzio said. “I’d recommend Statusphere to any consumer brand looking to drive authentic awareness and results through creator partnerships.”“Statusphere has cracked the code on this through their platform and demonstrated with some of the largest brands in the world that scale and quality can be achieved with ease,” said Larry Cheng, managing partner and co-founder at Volition Capital. “The problem that Statusphere solves is one that we’ve seen over and over again," Cheng added. "It’s really hard to run a quality micro-influencer campaign at a very large scale. The market has realized that Statusphere has nailed this use case. That’s shown up in their phenomenal growth and retention.”Kristen WileyCourtesy of Statusphere. Editorial StandardsReprints & PermissionsFind Sharon Edelson on LinkedIn and X. Visit Sharon's website.
