ShareCopy Link D-Wave Quantum (NYSE:QBTS) acquired Quantum Circuits, becoming what it describes as the first dual-platform quantum computing company across annealing and gate-based systems. The company announced new collaborations with two major U.S. defense contractors to develop hybrid quantum-classical applications for missile-defense planning. D-Wave is relocating its global headquarters to Boca Raton and supporting a US$20 million quantum system deployment at Florida Atlantic University as part of a new research facility. D-Wave Quantum sits at the intersection of quantum hardware, software, and cloud access, and this latest move into dual-platform technology broadens the types of computational problems it can target. For investors watching quantum computing, the mix of annealing and gate-based architectures speaks to a wider set of real world use cases, from optimization to more general-purpose quantum workloads. The new defense collaborations and Florida Atlantic University deployment also shift more of D-Wave's footprint into a U.S. tech hub, tying the company closer to government, academic, and enterprise users. For you as a shareholder or potential investor, the news provides additional data points about where D-Wave is focusing its resources and which customer segments it is prioritizing over the longer term. Lets go through the list! The last successful would be the Tesla Model 3 which was 2019 with first deliveries 2017. Roadster not shipped. Tesla Cybertruck global roll out failed. They might have a bunch of prototypes (that are being controlled remotely) And you think they'll be able to ship something as complicated as a robot? It's a pure speculation buy.3|1USUser on Tesla · 1 day agoThis article completely disregards (ignores, forgets) how far China is in this field. If Tesla continues on this path, they will be fighting for their lives trying to sell $40000 dollar robots that can do less than a $10000 dollar one from China will do. Fair value of Tesla? It has always been a hype stock with a valuation completely unbased in reality. Your guess is as good as mine, but especially after the carbon credit scheme got canned, it is downwards of $150.2|0TITickerTickle on Figma · about 21 hours agoFigma is still deeply embedded as the default design system in big companies, and the ecosystem (Buzz, Slides, Sites, Make) is clearly the strategic play rather than a one‑off product bet. None of those qualitative assumptions have really broken yet, the bigger change has been sentiment toward growth/AI software in general, not Figma’s product reality. Assuming ~30% annual growth, margins stepping up to 25%, and a 40x PE in 2030 with an 8.4% discount rate is too optimistic now considering how the broader market is now pricing similar SaaS names, which means you can believe in the long term thesis and still accept that the stock might chop sideways or even drift lower while expectations and multiples reset. I will be sharing an update soon.
