Superstaq is Infleqtion's flagship quantum software platform. It optimizes quantum program execution by tailoring programs to underlying hardware primitives, using proprietary cross-layer optimization to deliver up to 10× performance improvements on real devices. The platform applies compilation and noise mitigation techniques including dynamical decoupling, parametric gates, swap mirroring, phased microwave decompositions, approximate synthesis, and qutrits. Superstaq is hardware-agnostic. It supports superconducting qubits (AQT, IBM Quantum, Rigetti), trapped ions (QSCOUT), and neutral atoms (Infleqtion), and is compatible with Qiskit, Cirq, and OpenQASM. For benchmarks such as Bernstein-Vazirani and Qubit Coupled Cluster chemistry methods, it improves execution performance by at least 10x compared to other compilers. Infleqtion received a $1.15M Department of Energy SBIR Phase IIB grant to advance Superstaq, the first DOE SBIR Phase IIB award for quantum computing software.
