About
Dynamiqs is an open-source Python library, sponsored by Alice & Bob, for high-speed simulation of open and closed quantum systems using NVIDIA accelerated computing. The GPU acceleration improves matrix operation efficiency by up to 60x, making it possible to simulate large, complex systems with multiple qubits and physical hardware components. The library is built on Google AI's JAX machine learning library and the Diffrax differential equations library. The team behind Dynamiqs includes researchers from Alice & Bob, the University of Sherbrooke, Yale University, INRIA, Ecole de Mines, and ENS. In 2025, integration with the NVIDIA CUDA-Q platform accelerated complex quantum dynamics simulation by up to 75x in early benchmarks. Its differentiability and GPU acceleration give researchers improved and entirely new capabilities for quantum device calibration.
