The D-Wave Leap Quantum LaunchPad is a quantum computing startup acceleration program launched by D-Wave in January 2025 to speed up the deployment of quantum computing applications. Qualified participants receive a 3-month free trial of D-Wave's annealing quantum technology along with expert support. Participants gain access to D-Wave Advantage production-grade annealing quantum computers with more than 5,000 qubits and sub-second solve times, the Leap real-time quantum cloud service with 99.9% uptime, developer tools, a suite of advanced optimization hybrid solvers, and technical guidance from D-Wave quantum and optimization experts. The LaunchPad is a competitive program, and not all submissions are accepted. It targets startups and researchers working on optimization-intensive applications in logistics, supply chain, finance, materials science, and other domains. The program complements D-Wave's broader Leap quantum cloud service, which provides open developer access to quantum systems globally. The LaunchPad is part of D-Wave's effort to grow its developer and startup ecosystem as the company operates as a dual-platform quantum provider following its January 2026 acquisition of Quantum Circuits Inc.
