Bosch Ventures (Robert Bosch Venture Capital GmbH, RBVC) is the corporate venture capital arm of Robert Bosch GmbH. Founded in 2007, it is headquartered in Gerlingen-Schillerhohe, Germany, with offices in Silicon Valley and Boston. In May 2025 the firm launched a 250 million euro fund, and it now holds more than 60 active investments worldwide. Its quantum investment thesis centres on technologies that enable next-generation sensing, computing, and industrial automation relevant to Bosch's core businesses in automotive, industrial technology, and consumer goods. Investment Partner Jan Westerhues focuses on the firm's quantum technology evaluations. Bosch Ventures has made notable quantum bets. It joined a Series B extension into IonQ that totalled $84M in 2021, and IonQ later went public on the NYSE as IONQ. In 2023 it led the 42 million pound round into Quantum Motion, the largest funding round in UK quantum computing at the time.
