About
Anaqor AG is a quantum software company based in Berlin and Stuttgart, founded by Andreas Liebing, Mathias Petri, David Niehaus, and Michael Falkenthal. It began as StoneOne AG in 2007 and was renamed Anaqor AG in 2023 to focus exclusively on quantum computing. In 2019, the company launched PlanQK, the first community-powered quantum platform and ecosystem. PlanQK is an open platform where developers can exchange code, and it is trusted by more than 100 organizations. It was supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs with a total investment volume of 36 million euros, making it one of the single largest quantum application research projects. A collaboration between the Technical University of Munich and Anaqor brought the Munich Quantum Toolkit into PlanQK. QAI Ventures has invested in the company. In July 2024, Anaqor was acquired by Kipu Quantum.
