It has raised $1.3 billion since inception and invested in over 200 companies, and it is recognized as one of the most significant long-term quantum technology investors in the UK. The firm invests across three areas: Intelligence (AI, advanced computing, quantum), Human (health, medicine, wellness), and Planet (sustainability, energy, materials, space). Amadeus holds positions in several UK quantum companies, including Oxford Quantum Circuits (OQC), Quantum Motion Technologies, and Riverlane. Its Riverlane investments run from the initial £3.25M seed round in June 2019 through the $20M Series A, the £15M Series B (co-led with Molten Ventures), and the $75M Series C in August 2024.
