Quobly and QPerfect Launch GPU-Accelerated QLEO Emulator with NVIDIA CUDA-Q Compatibility
Summarize this article with:
Quobly and QPerfect Launch GPU-Accelerated QLEO Emulator with NVIDIA CUDA-Q Compatibility Quobly, a pioneer in quantum microelectronics, and QPerfect, a specialist in emulation and control for neutral atom systems, have jointly announced a major upgrade to their quantum emulator, QLEO (Quobly Logical Emulator Online). The launch introduces GPU acceleration and full NVIDIA CUDA-Q compatibility, which is intended to accelerate quantum simulations by orders of magnitude and support the development of industrial-scale quantum systems. The upgraded QLEO integrates a GPU-accelerated engine leveraging the NVIDIA cuQuantum SDK, unlocking performance gains for quantum simulation. This new GPU backend achieves over 100 times speedups compared to CPU-only simulation starting around 26 qubits. The native CUDA-Q support allows developers to write quantum circuits and seamlessly integrate simulated quantum kernels within C++ or Python hybrid quantum-classical workflows. Maud Vinet, CEO and co-founder of Quobly, noted that the integration of GPU acceleration aligns with Quobly’s industrialization strategy, shortening the path from emulation to a fully operational quantum machine. The platform is designed to support simulations across areas such as quantum chemistry, combinatorial optimization, and quantitative finance. The new generation of QLEO is available on the OVHcloud Quantum Platform and can be installed locally. Read the full announcement here.
