Kalshi and Polymarket’s fundraising efforts have positioned prediction markets alongside artificial intelligence as one of the few industries where young founders could become paper billionaires practically overnight off the back of soaring valuations. The two firms together command the vast majority of the market, but at least a dozen other startups popped up in the past year as prediction markets’ trading volumes have hit new highs. Rob Hadick, general partner at global crypto investment firm Dragonfly and an early investor in Polymarket, speaks on "Bloomberg Crypto" with Scarlet Fu and Tim Stenovec.
