Work closely with other group members and contribute to collaborative research within the group. In addition to the above, collaborate with international and domestic researchers, and provide positive feedback to the group. Lead and contribute to the preparation of manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Present research results at international conferences, workshops, and seminars. Supervise and mentor students and junior researchers in the group, and contribute to activities related to developing the next generation of researchers as appropriate (by default, there are no course-teaching or teaching-assistant duties). Carry out the activities necessary for the group's operation. Demonstrated experience in theoretical research in at least one of the following areas: quantum algorithms; complexity theory; quantum machine learning; fault-tolerant quantum computation; quantum error correction; quantum information theory; quantum cryptography; entanglement; quantum resource theory; mathematics related to quantum information; or closely related fields, with a publication record commensurate with career stage. Proficient in written and spoken English (Japanese proficiency is not mandatory). Ability to work on both rigorous theoretical analysis and numerical simulations, as needed.
