By utilizing the Parity Code for error correction, the consortium intends to achieve at least a tenfold improvement in both execution runtime and the total number of qubits required compared to conventional quantum error correction methods. Within the collaboration, NXP Semiconductors provides industrial use cases and real-world design challenges to ensure the research remains grounded in practical requirements. ParityQC is responsible for the architectural implementation, using its Parity Flow methodology to optimize algorithms for specific hardware constraints. The project’s final objective is to deliver a series of “quantum solvers”—tailored algorithms designed for specific classes of real-world problems with a clear path toward future commercialization in the semiconductor and IT sectors.
