And as of December 2025, it's only offered in 10 U.S. states. However, the company plans to expand auto coverage to other states in the future, and people across the current eligible states are rushing to obtain coverage. Along with its other policies, Lemonade's auto insurance is known to be often cheaper than that of competitors, as the company utilizes a usage-based model to determine prices. It also boasted at that time that across all lines of its insurance services, it had surpassed $1 billion in in-force premiums, or active premiums.
